Do you use large amounts of water for your lawn or garden? Or even to fill your pool in the summer? The King George Service Authority (KGSA) is investigating a way you may be able to reduce your bill.
KGSA is collecting applications from customers who receive both water and sewer services that are interested in the implementation of an irrigation meter program. The program would reduce sewer customer bills by removing the sewer fees associated with the amount read by the irrigation meter.
If you are interested in the program, please fill out the online form at kinggeorgecountyva.gov/irrigationmeter by Thursday, May 1, at 11:59 p.m. The authority will assess the financial feasibility of developing the program from the applications received. Applicants will be contacted with an update about whether the program will be implemented once a decision is made by the board of directors.
If you have questions, please email KGSA@co.kinggeorge.state.va.us or call 540-775-2746.
