DOCK SAFETY TIPS
Look for tripping hazards like old boards & loose nails
Wear a life jacket
Identify safety features like life ring buoys, gates, railings, etc.
Know the depth of water around the dock. Do not dive from any dock.
BOAT SAFETY TIPS
Check electrical & fuel needs before leaving the dock
Wear a life jacket
Wear proper foot wear at all times to avoid slipping
Maintain safe speeds & ensure children are secure while moving
SWIM SAFETY TIPS
Enroll children in swim lessons as early as possible
Wear sunscreen or sunblock, even on cloudy days
Put water toys away to prevent children from going to play alone
Supervise children at all times while swimming
