The Procurement Office represents the citizens and businesses of our community, as well as our departmental customers in the purchase of goods and services needed by the organization and the citizens it serves.
Mission and Vision
Our office is committed to the principles of open competition and fairness. Working side by side with our departmental customers, we strive to ensure that our community receives the best value for the tax dollars that are expended. Towards these goals, we encourage businesses to register on eVA as a vendor and then visit the eVA website often to view current business opportunities.
Procurement strives to join with vendors and county departments to secure quality goods and services promptly and at a reasonable cost while ensuring that all purchasing actions are conducted fairly and impartially.
Authority
The legal authority for the operation of the Procurement Office is established by the King George County Purchasing Ordinance and Virginia State laws.
